Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix was an Los Angeles native born on November 18th, 1985. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained in the Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed an early aptitude for athletics when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic talent at that moment. After just 10 weeks of her first race, Felix finished second in the 200 meters race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished high school and subsequently signed an agreement with Adidas. In 2004, she enrolled in an institution called the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal at the 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s, setting an all-time junior world record.
